(Final) part 11.: Storing the pipe(s)

Last of a series of posts with basic tips that come in handy when smoking a pipe: from initial preparation, filling, lightning, smoking, cleaning and more.

It is best to store the pipes in specially designed cabinets: they are usually made of prestigious wood and have glass doors and openings for ventilation.

The pipes should be placed in a vertical or at least oblique position, with their heads down. The point is that they are kept in a dry and airy place, that they are not exposed to the sun and, if possible, protected from dust.

If we do not have a special cabinet for pipes, then it is also appropriate to place them in any existing cabinet and/or shelf.
